1. Information
The terms of use listed below (hereafter simply referred to as ‘terms’) include use of services, including the possibility to contribute with postings (hereafter simply referred to as services) on Reviews website, www.trustindex.io (hereafter simply referred to as ‘the website’).
By using services you accept that you must abide to the terms. Under ‘terms’ the words ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to Trustindex.io.
The term Client refers to the business or individual instructing Trustindex.io to carry out a service.
The terms are applicable to all users of the website and services.
If you do not wish to accept the terms you are not allowed to use the website or services.
2.1 Registered User
To get access to, and make full use of the services, you must register as a user on the website.
While registering, you must choose a password to use along with your email address when you log on to the website.
The password is unique to your account and must not be shared or in any other way made available to others.
We reserve the right to delete your account at any time without notice.
2.2 Contributions from registered users
All material, information, reviews, mentions and any other form of communication (hereafter all referred to under the term ‘contributions’) that are received from registered users via the website will be regarded as non-confidential, non-exclusive and will not entitle the reviewer to royalties or any form of compensation.
Registered users are responsible for the content of the contributions they publish on the website.
Trustindex.io is in no way responsible for any libellous comments or reviews that could be classed as defamation.
Registered users may not publicise contributions on the website that has:
- Sexist or racist characteristics or content, or condescends certain people or groups.
- Content, including copyrighted material.
- Disloyal or unlawful purpose or content
- Libellous that are known to be false.
- Any personal information
Contributors are in all cases responsible for the legality of the contribution.
The registered user must guarantee that Trustindex.io is held indemnified for any demand that may be raised by a third party against Trustindex.io as a consequence of the registered users violation of point.
We reserve the right to delete contributions at any time and with no warning or explanation.
We reserve the right to send a review request email on behalf of a Company/Website if requested to do so by a genuine customer.
3. Rights
All company names, brands and other company trademarks and the website belongs to either Trustindex.io or third parties and can only be used for business purposes after a preceding permission from us or third parties respectively.
Rights to our free use of contributions are nontransferable, without time limit and with no territorial limits towards us, upon sending the contribution to us.
The website’s content can not be copied and displayed anywhere else on the internet.
4. Contract
You can cancel your subscription package with Trustindex.io at any time.
Trustindex.io reserve the right to display reviews written on Trustindex.io if a client should cancel subscription.
5. Indemnity
Customers shall indemnify Trustindex.io against any loss or damage suffered or incurred by Trustindex.io as a result of any third party claim (including any claim or allegation by any governmental authority) that:
- the use of any content provided by Customer infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party and/or violates applicable law or the Guidelines;
- io use of Consumer data in accordance with this Agreement is in breach of the Data Protection Requirements or any other applicable laws related to data privacy; or
- any email message sent or caused to be sent by Trustindex.io on behalf Customer violates any applicable law, rule or regulation.
Customer shall not bring any claim against Trustindex.io arising from or related to any User Content, including without limitation, any claim that the User Content is defamatory, offensive or otherwise harmful.
Customer shall indemnify Trustindex.io against any loss or damage suffered or incurred by Trustindex.io as a result of any such claim, whether such claim is brought by Customer, any of Customer’s affiliates, or any of its or their officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, shareholders, or other associated third parties.
6. Limitation of liability
Neither party excludes any Loss in respect of personal injury or death, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other Loss that may not be lawfully excluded or limited.
Neither party shall be liable for any loss of profits or revenues, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill or reputation, loss of data or any indirect, consequential or special Loss whatsoever.
7. Safeguarding your information
To protect your information, our credit card processing vendor uses the latest 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology for secure transactions.
Our vendor is certified as compliant with card association security initiatives, like the Visa Cardholder Information Security and Compliance (CISP), MasterCard (SDP), and Paypal.
Trustindex.io accounts require a username and password to log in. You must keep your username and password secure, and never disclose it to a third party.
Because the information in your Distribution Lists is so sensitive, account passwords are encrypted, which means we can’t see your passwords.
We can’t resend forgotten passwords either. We’ll only reset them.
8. Personal Information
In connection with the use of the services, we collect user data when users register with Trustindex.io.
This data will not be passed to a 3rd party without prior consent.
To ensure that users get the best possible experience from using the website, we process information about search behaviour and other user behaviour on the website, including the total number of visits to the website.
The information will, however, not be processed in a way that can trace the behaviour to specific users. These statistical and non-personal information can be transferred to third parties.
Cookies are used on the website to monitor what parts of the website the user’s browser has previously visited and enables us to adjust the website’s content accordingly.
However, we do not process information, gathered by cookies in this manner, that can connect the user behaviour with specific users.
Our processing of personal data is carried out according to the law of personal data.
Registered users can contact us if they request information about what data that are processed about them or if they wish to have the information deleted or rectified.
Furthermore, registered users can at any time withdraw their consent, which can happen by contacting support@trustindex.io.
Withdrawal of consent will be considered as a request to be deleted as a registered user altogether.
We have initiated a number of technical and organisational arrangements to ensure that personal information that is being processed does not delete, disappear, deteriorate or gets into the hands of unauthorised parties.
Client agrees to comply with its obligations under EU Data Protection Directives as a data controller and any other legislation and/or binding regulations implementing or made pursuant to them (“Data Protection Requirements”).
When enabling the Review Collection Services the Client is – in accordance with the Data Protection Requirements – regarded as a Data Controller of the Consumers’ personal data, which is provided to Trustindex.io when Client uses the Review Collection Services Trustindex.io and Trustindex.io is regarded as the data processor.
This entails that Trustindex.io shall only act by instructions from Client in regards to the provided personal data about the Consumers. It is the sole responsibility of Client to provide such instructions to Trustindex.io.
Trustindex.io shall make the necessary security measures to comply with the obligations of a data processor, including ensuring that the information is not (i) accidentally or unlawfully destroyed, (ii) lost, altered or damaged, (iii) disclosed to or accessed by any unauthorised person, (iv) misused or (v) in other ways treated in violation of the Data Protection Requirements.
On Client’s request, Trustindex.io will, in line with and to the extent provided for in the Data Protection Requirements, supply Client with sufficient information for Client to assure that the above-mentioned technical and organisational security measures have been made.
All data collected and processed about Consumers after they sign up on Trustindex.io website are processed by Trustindex.io as a data controller.
Trustindex.io is not responsible for and assumes no liability for the Consumers’ conduct on or use of the Trustindex.io Service, including the content published by the Consumers (such content, “User Content”). Trustindex.io does not and cannot control or monitor the User Content and Trustindex.io does not endorse any User Content, nor does the opinions expressed in the User Content represent the opinions of Trustindex.io, its affiliates, or any of its or their officers, directors, employees, contractors or shareholders.
The Agreement shall not be regarded as Trustindex.io’s approval, endorsement or recommendation of Client, Client’s products or services. Client may not market itself or by other way give public declarations in conflict with the above.
Client’s use of the Trustindex.io Service must at all times comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. Client warrants to Trustindex.io that its use of the Trustindex.io Service will in no way cause Trustindex.io to violate any applicable laws, rules or regulations or to violate the privacy rights of any third party.
When the Customer signs up for an account, a password to the account is created. This password may only be used by and for Customer. Customer is responsible for all use of the Trustindex.io Service occurring under Customer’s account.
9. User Generated Content
The rights (including all intellectual property rights) in any material, information, notifications, reviews, photos or other types of user generated content (UGC) created on the Website by Reviewers is licensed to Trustindex.io for its non-exclusive use.
The Reviewer is not entitled to royalty payments or any other compensation or fee related to such content.
10. Disclamer
Trustindex.io does not produce or publish contributions on the website. Trustindex.io cannot be held accountable for the reviews and comments made on the website. If you would like to remove or discuss an issue with the website, please email support@trustindex.io.
Trustindex.io accepts no responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of contributions published by registered users on the website, including contributions of technical, external or any other cause may be changed or deleted in connection with the publication on the website or the following.
Trustindex.io does not read through or edit contribution added to the website of registered users, and can in no way be held responsible for the content of these contributions. Should the contributions contain links to third parties, Trustindex.io will accept no responsibility for the contents of the link in question.
Trustindex.io recommendations and reference to concrete companies, e-shops etc. is only guiding and Trustindex.io can in no way be held responsible if the guiding recommendation turns out to be incorrect, misleading or similar.
Trustindex.io can in no case be made to compensate for use of the website or code, including loss of revenue, working loss, market interruptions, loss of goodwill or similar losses. Furthermore, Trustindex.io can not be made to pay compensation or similar as a result of errors or downtime.
Trustindex.io reserves the right to revise these terms at any time, as well as the right to close the website as a result of own assessment and without warning.
We reserve the right to delete reviews that are solicited externally.
Privacy Policy
By creating a business profile on Trustindex.io (the “Website”) you accept these guidelines for processing personal data on the Website.
1. Collecting information on the website
1.1. Company data
When you create a business profile on the Website, we collect the following master data:
- Your name
- company address
- domain
- company name
- company VAT ID
- country
- password
- and your email address.
The purpose of the collection of this information is to identify you as a customer when you log on to the Website.
Furthermore, you can choose to add more information to your business profile, such as your details, website and company information.
If you are a customer of Trustindex.io, we also collect information relevant to the fulfilment of the agreement between you and us.
1.2. Reviews
When you write a reply to a review made by a user about your company, we collect the information you state in the reply, including company details and your name.
1.3. Cookies
Trustindex.iouses cookies. Cookies are digital information which is stored on your computer.
The cookie does not identify the individual user but the user’s computer, and it is for example used for measuring Website traffic for the purpose of producing anonymous statistics in order to improve the functionality of the Website and to get the Website to work.

1.4 IP Adresses
When visiting the Website, the IP address of your computer is registered. The IP address is the numerical address of the computer used when visiting the Website.
The IP address is registered to enable Trustindex.io to trace the used computer in case of misuse or unlawful actions in connection with the visit on or use of the Website.
Further, the IP address is used to derive your approximate location (city level).
2. Disclosure of data
2.1. Disclosure of data ont he website
Company Data:
The company information you insert when signing up or when updating your company profile page will be available for other users of the Website.
Other Information:
Other information provided by you on the Website, including your replies to users’ reviews, are automatically made available for other users of the Website.
2.2. Disclosure to other services
A main purpose of the Website is to increase the exposure and the availability of the reviews made on the Website.
Hence, we permit other third party services to show the reviews, including but not limited to companies’ replies, created on the Website thus increasing other consumers’ knowledge of Trustindex.io and the reviews.
We do not share any personal contactable data with these companies.
2.3. Other disclosure
Trustindex.io may be required to disclose information by a court order from a competent court of law or public authority in accordance with the existing legislation.
As the Data Controller we allow the companies being reviewed to see contactable data provided by the reviewer, in a secure digital environment.
3. Data controller vs data processing
In basic terms if the Company (Client) sends invitations to its customers/users inviting them to review the Company on Trustindex.io, the Company is classed as the data controller and Trustindex.io is classed as the data processor.
Once a review has been written Trustindex.io becomes the data controller as the reviewer would have agreed to our User Privacy Policy.
For Users, who made payment to Trustindex.io
Our users acknowledge the following personal data stored in the user account of Trustindex Kft (HU-1133 Budapest, Kárpát street 37.) in the user database of trustindex.io will be handed over to OTP Mobil Ltd. and is trusted as data processor.
The data transferred by the data controller are the following: customer name, address, e-mail address, vat number

3.1. Data controller
Trustindex.io becomes the data controller once a review has been written.
3.2. Data processor
By accepting this privacy policy you accept Trustindex.io is an authorised data processor for the date you are the data controller of. By accepting this privacy policy you give instructions to Trustindex.io to be the data processor in accordance with your privacy policy and GDPR.
All data passed to Trustindex.io will be deleted after 30 days unless a review is written, in which case Trustindex.io would become the data controller and the reviewer would be agreeing to our User Privacy Policy.
4. Data processing agreement
Trustindex.io shall regulate the data processing activities to be carried out in accordance with the services offered by Trustindex.io.
By logging into the admin dashboard you are agreeing to the details set forth in the data processing agreement.
5. Security Measures
Trustindex.io will see to that the recorded data, including the personal information, is handled carefully and protected properly following the currently applicable safety standards.
Trustindex.io regularly audits its system for possible vulnerabilities and attacks.
However, since the internet is not a 100% secure environment, Trustindex.io cannot ensure or warrant the security of information you transmit to Trustindex.io.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and/or similar technologies to analyze customer behavior, administer the website, track users’ movements, and to collect information about users. This is done in order to personalize and enhance your experience with us.

7. IP Addresses and browser settings
When visiting the Website, the IP address and the browser settings of your computer are registered. The IP address is the numerical address of the computer used when visiting the Website. Browser settings are e.g. the type of browser you use, browser language, timezone etc.
The IP address and browser settings are registered to enable us to trace the used computer in case of misuse or unlawful actions in connection with the visit on or use of the Website.
Further, the IP address is used to derive your approximate location and verify your review as genuine.
IP data is removed after 30 days unless a review is written in which case the IP data is retained until the review is deleted or a removal request has been actioned.
8. Changes in the privacy policy
We may at any time and without notice make changes to our privacy policy with future effect.
We will inform you of such changes when you log on to the Website.
You agree that the continued use of the Website after any posted modified version of the Privacy Policy is your acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy.
